Our staff and Dr. Ram will be monitoring URGENT voice messages left for :

Urgent Prescription Refills

Clinical conditions with requirement for antibiotics,

Urgent Lab work

Urgent Imaging

Urgent Referrals


  • Please note that Dr. Ram IS ALWAYS monitoring for URGENT RESULTS and will call you directly if there is anything CRITICAL ( not good ) on your bloodwork or imaging reports. No calls from Dr. Ram is considered good news and your test results will be discussed with you at your next appointment.


  • PLEASE DO NOT MESSAGE US ON THE PORTAL or E-MAIL us for Urgent Issues. Any messages left on the portal or on email is considered NON-URGENT .


  • NON-URGENT ISSUES:

Non- urgent communication with our office will be answered within 2-3 BUSINESS DAYS or sooner depending on staff availability.


Voice messages, emails and portal messages regarding the following:

Cancellation or rescheduling of

ROUTINE ANNUAL WELLNESS EXAMS and ROUTINE FOLLOW-UPs

ROUTINE prescription refills

Controlled substances may require an appointment

Non-urgent SCCIPA or PMG referrals

ROUTINE bloodwork or Imaging reports

Billing issues

  • NON-URGENT FAXES and PAPERWORK received by our office:

Paperwork takes 1 week to complete- our staff completes this on our admin

days. Please be respectful of our staff's time and Dr. Ram.

You may request the paperwork sooner but if we have urgencies or training

we will need to take care of our urgencies first.

Prior authorizations that are PENDED through the SCCIPA website take 1

week to get approved by your insurance and SCCIPA will generally send you a

with the information required for your referral.

Special requests and procedures through SCCIPA or PMG typically take 2

weeks or longer to get approved.

RECORDS REQUESTS: If you are moving or switching PCPs and require your old

records we can send you a copy of your recent blood work, consult notes, and

other basic information in your chart at no cost to your portal. This takes 1-2

weeks.

If you require your entire health record we require a payment of $50.

We can then send you a copy of your records which would also take 1-2

weeks.

  • OUR OFFICE IS CLOSED DURING WEEKENDS and portal messages and email messages and voice messages are not checked on weekends. Please visit URGENT CARE if you have an urgent issue arises over the weekend.


  • STAFF EMAIL:

Our previous office staff emails are no longer functional and will be

forwarded to our current staff emails.

  • VISITORS TO OUR CENTER:

Due to on-going concerns of the new strains of COVID-19 visitors to our office are

restricted. Our doors will remain locked all day. If you have an Ayurvedic or Yoga

appointment, our staff will let you in appropriately.

  • Please call the office to schedule a pick up or drop off of paperwork if needed.

  • We are CLOSED for lunch between 12 PM and 2 PM.

  • We DO NOT require our patients to have to COVID vaccine but are not currently seeing patients that have respiratory conditions IN PERSON. We are happy to accommodate you via ZOOM.
