Please note that in general, urgent messages should never be sent via email as this is not a safe or private method of communication for health-related issues. As a courtesy to those patients who do not want to establish a patient portal, with your permission, we would temporarily be able to attend to your needs over email but please note our email is only checked once or twice a week. Please call the office and leave a message for anything that requires our attention. Please DO NOT send multiple emails to our staff.
Prescriptions and Refills
Urgent and routine prescription refills will still be processed as usual - please contact your pharmacy and they will fax our office.
Laboratory work & Imaging
If you have seen Dr. Ram in the last few weeks and you have gotten your blood work done, it will still be reviewed , but you will only receive a phone call from the doctor if there is anything CRITICAL in the result. Otherwise the results will be discussed with you either in an online follow-up or in a Wellness appointment when the " Shelter in Place" mandate has ended.
If you have already had your Wellness appointment this year, and Dr. Ram has ordered your blood work and you have yet to complete it, please get it done when it is safe to do so after the mandate is over and then CALL THE OFFICE and leave a message with the front staff that you would like your blood work results.
Dr. Ram will have a chance to review and respond to routine blood work and imaging results during our business hours.
Referrals and Paperwork
Routine SCCIPA & PMG referrals will be checked during our business hours.
Any paperwork that you may have submitted to us in previous weeks has been completed.
New paperwork faxed to us will be worked on during our business hours.
