Please note: We DO NOT do any COVID testing in our office. We also DO NOT offer any COVID vaccination at the office at this time. On April 29, 2020, the mandate was extended through May 31, 2020. The GOOD NEWS is that WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS ON BOTH THE FAMILY MEDICINE AND INTEGRATIVE SIDES OF OUR PRACTICE !!
Please note the following changes to our schedule for as long as the "Shelter-In- Place" mandate is in effect: OFFICE HOURS: 8 AM to 1 PM Monday through Friday. We are closed on December 25th through January 1st for Christmas Break. We will reopen on January 4th, 2021. If you have an emergency please call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room. Urgencies after 1PM on business days: Call 408-335-7640 and listen to the voice prompts as our menu options have changed. Routine Voicemails & Emails Please note that all routine calls, emails will be answered only during our business hours (8 AM to 1 PM) Monday through Friday. Please note that in general, urgent messages should never be sent via email as this is not a safe or private method of communication for health-related issues. As a courtesy to those patients who do not want to establish a patient portal, with your permission, we would temporarily be able to attend to your needs over email but please note our email is only checked once or twice a week. Please call the office and leave a message for anything that requires our attention. Please DO NOT send multiple emails to our staff. Prescriptions and Refills Urgent and routine prescription refills will still be processed as usual - please contact your pharmacy and they will fax our office. Laboratory work & Imaging If you have seen Dr. Ram in the last few weeks and you have gotten your blood work done, it will still be reviewed , but you will only receive a phone call from the doctor if there is anything CRITICAL in the result. Otherwise the results will be discussed with you either in an online follow-up or in a Wellness appointment when the " Shelter in Place" mandate has ended. If you have already had your Wellness appointment this year, and Dr. Ram has ordered your blood work and you have yet to complete it, please get it done when it is safe to do so after the mandate is over and then CALL THE OFFICE and leave a message with the front staff that you would like your blood work results. Dr. Ram will have a chance to review and respond to routine blood work and imaging results during our business hours. Referrals and Paperwork Routine SCCIPA & PMG referrals will be checked during our business hours. Any paperwork that you may have submitted to us in previous weeks has been completed. New paperwork faxed to us will be worked on during our business hours. Ayurvedic Consultations , Yoga Therapy and Hypnosis Sessions The Ayurveda practitioners and the Yoga therapists will also be seeing patients online. If you have an appointment scheduled, our staff will be touch to help you transition to online sessions. The Ayurvedic therapies will be on hold until the "Shelter in Place" has ended.
